Postdate is made by UIG Studios LLC. This policy is short because the app collects nothing.
What Postdate stores
Everything you write in Postdate — your letters, envelope labels, delivery dates, and settings — is stored only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. There is no Postdate account, no Postdate server, and no sync. We never see your letters.
What Postdate collects
Nothing. Postdate has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party code. It does not collect your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers, or usage data. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Postdate schedules a local notification on your device for the day a letter arrives. The notification says only that a letter has arrived; it never includes what you wrote. Notifications are scheduled and delivered by iOS on your device — nothing is sent to us.
Purchases
Postdate offers one optional in-app purchase ("Unlimited"). Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no personal information from Apple about who bought it. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the App Store transaction.
Deleting your data
Because your letters live only on your device, deleting the app deletes them. Postdate has no copy to recover. Deleting a letter inside the app also removes it permanently from your device.
Children
Postdate is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Since the app collects nothing, changes would only reflect new features you'd already see in the app.
